Interested in Applying?

Typically, students applying for a position in September will start the application process a year in advance. Families are encouraged to look at our website in detail. Unfortunately, we are not welcoming visitors to campus at this time, but we will be offering virtual Q&A sessions on a regular basis in the spring. Most of our interviews are conducted between October and February, all of which will be virtual. For more information, please contact Toni Nosworthy.

Entrance Test Information

RSGC has created an evaluation process that will assess a variety of criteria including critical thinking and communication skills, literacy and numeracy. The test will take approximately one hour and involve three components: basic math skills; problem-solving and creative writing. Our student-centered admissions process will continue to look at academic skills, aptitude, character and potential through report cards, in-house testing, interviews, confidential school reports and observations to provide a complete and personalized picture of each candidate. Each candidate will ask their current or past teacher to provide a confidential school report.

Admission to RSGC includes the student’s participation in the following entrance tests:

  • Grade 3 Applicants: Tested during the interview.
  • Grades 4–12 Applicants: Entrance Tests will take place on specific days in January.
