Grades 3–6 Celebrate Spring with Cherry Blossoms and Poetry in High Park
Our Grades 3-6 students went to High Park to explore the cherry blossoms, which are blooming beautifully this spring.
While there, they explored the history of Sakura trees in the city, and read springtime poetry. The students were also given time to make observations and reflect on them through poetry and drawings. They really lucked out with the weather and the blossoms being perfectly in bloom, leading to a fun outing exploring our city.
