We believe that each boy can be good and ambitious at the same time.
Post-secondary counselling is a component of every students’ journey at RSGC. The purpose is to help students learn how to use education as one of the essential tools through which they can define who they are and the impact they will have in their communities.
Finding the right path
By emphasizing effective decision-making, self-reflection, and values exploration, we empower students to take ownership of their education and make meaningful decisions that align with their strengths, interests, and aspirations.
Ian A. Fleming, Director of University Counselling, works closely with each student to help them identify the post-secondary path that best suits their interests and goals. Together they take a student-centered approach that combines academic advising best practices with mindfulness and psychotherapeutic principles. At RSGC, students are guided to do more than simply gain admission to post-secondary institutions. We emphasize effective decision-making, self-reflection, and values exploration to ensure each boy finds the path that is the right one for him.
A Personalized Approach
We offer personalized counselling, workshops, and seminars on topics such as essay writing, interview skills, and scholarship applications. Our strong academic foundation, combined with our focus on critical thinking and independent learning, ensures that our graduates thive—here, in post-secondary institutions, and in life.
