It is through the generosity of the Georgian Community – alumni, alumni parents, parents, grandparents and friends of the College – that we are able to give boys the experience of a lifetime. Enriching programs in academics, music, art, drama and athletics help make for a well-rounded education that leads to a successful future.

Your generosity allows us to continue to make the Georgian experience the best it can be and accomplish our goals as a College. There are many ways you can support RSGC. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions.

Annual Giving 2017-18

A Message from Stephen Beatty '86, Headmaster and father of Jack, Class of 2022 and Finn, Class of 2025

One of my privileges and responsibilities as Headmaster is addressing our students to communicate values and lessons that will form their decisions as they develop into good men.

At the start of every year, my message is often about getting involved. In our fast-paced world, it is often too easy to look at the other guy and think “he’ll do it – I don’t need to get involved.” The message of setting goals and challenging ourselves to reach beyond our comfort is one that was shared with me, many years ago as a student at RSGC, and I believe it is still relevant for our students today.

I also share with the boys stories of the times that I tried and did not succeed. As I got older, I realized those were the times when I learned my most meaningful lessons. The act of participating, the act of contributing in some way, the act of supporting a common goal is often just as meaningful.

Today, I encourage you to get involved and participate in this year’s Annual Giving appeal. The only gift too small… is no gift at all. Please help us continue the Georgian tradition of giving as we strive for 100% participation.

Last year, the funds raised were used for the much-needed renovation of our kitchen, as well as needs-based scholarship funds for students. Thank you to all who contributed to make our Georgian community stronger.

Thank you for your continued support of our great school.

  • Georgian Opportunity Fund

It has always been in the character of the College to provide for boys who deserve a world-class education. Scholarships truly make a difference.

The Georgian Opportunity Fund provides up to 100% tuition support to deserving boys from Grades 9-12 and includes:

    • Up to 100% tuition
    • Uniform
    • Books
    • School trips and extracurricular expenses
    • Laptop
    • TTC fare
    • Daily lunch
  • Headmaster’s Initiatives

A gift towards Headmaster’s Initiatives allows our Headmaster to fund immediate priorities and to quickly fund opportunities and needs as they arise.
  • Manners Maketh Men Scholarship and Bursary Fund

Named in honour of our founding headmaster Dr. J.L. Wright who proffered the “Manners Maketh Men” credo, this Fund will allow RSGC to offer admission to the best boys from all backgrounds, including students who would be an excellent fit for the RSGC family but are unable to afford an independent school education.
