Experiential Learning

Discover how RSGC students build resilience, identity, and a deep connection with nature through hands-on learning in the great outdoors. See how The Pine Project and the Experiential Learning Program are transforming education, one adventure at a time.
The Experiential Learning Program at RSGC is designed to be an opportunity for Georgians to engage in place-based learning to develop relationships with nature, themselves, each other, and the community.

Experiential Learning encourages holistic well-being and objectives are to help each student take risks and challenge himself, build resilience, develop a personal identity and reflect on personal growth.

The Pine Project
Students in grades 3 to 6 will be working with The Pine Project over the course of the school year, aligned with the Science Curriculum. The Pine Project is a leading organization in connecting people of all ages to nature. Their programs foster confidence, competence, resilience and a deep connection with nature.
