It is through the generosity of the Georgian Community – alumni, alumni parents, parents, grandparents and friends of the College – that we are able to give boys the experience of a lifetime. Enriching programs in academics, music, art, drama and athletics help make for a well-rounded education that leads to a successful future.

Your generosity allows us to continue to make the Georgian experience the best it can be and accomplish our goals as a College. There are many ways you can support RSGC. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions.

JUNIOR SCHOOL REDEVELOPMENT PLAN: FINAL PHASE

A Message from Stephen Beatty '86, Headmaster and father of Jack, Class of 2022 and Finn, Class of 2025

A major focus of our campus redevelopment since 2014 has been on the Junior School.

As well as being home to our Junior School students, this space plays an important role in the lives of all of our students. It all began with the renovation of Ketchum Hall. Ketchum joins the Chapel as the only space at the College shared by all students for the past 55 years. It has been transformed from a simple dining hall into a Great Hall – a multipurpose and multifunctional space for students and our entire community.

In 2017, our kitchen facilities were expanded and improved to provide for a variety of “home-style” menu choices. These improvements have allowed our chef to work with increased amounts of fresh products and create more food from scratch as part of a wholesome approach to cooking and eating.

In addition, creation of more open spaces like the Junior School Foyer and Learning Studio now provide for informal meeting and collaborative work space for our boys. All classrooms have been refreshed, with enhanced lighting and air quality, which have translated into more desirable places for teaching and learning.

After years of designing, digging and rebuilding, we have come to the final stage of this project, which will focus on our middle school. We know their physical space is an important aspect of our boys’ learning. By creating flexible learning spaces for our Middle School students, we are fostering important strengths such as critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving.

This next phase will upgrade their learning environment to create new, large, flexible classrooms, as well as the completion of the Middle School Commons.

This entire project would not have been possible without the continued generosity from our community – parents, alumni, alumni parents, staff and friends of the College all helped to make this major redevelopment project a reality. Please join us once again and help us complete the vision for the Junior School. It is making an immediate impact on the lives of our students today and will continue to benefit the boys that follow them.

Thank you for your continued support of our great school!
