A Cornerstone of a Georgian Education

Creativity and Self Expression – Arts and RSGC

Arts are a cornerstone of a Georgian education. With an emphasis equal to that of academics and athletics, artistic expression completes the RSGC student experience – we believe that arts play a vital role in shaping well-rounded individuals who appreciate the power of creativity and innovation. Our students are empowered in a supportive environment, to explore their passions, express themselves authentically, and prepare for future success in creative fields or in any role where creativity adds to positive outcomes.
Our Arts program emphasizes inclusivity and diversity, encouraging critical engagement with art forms and providing multiple entry points for students of all interests and abilities. Through collaborative projects and mentorship opportunities, students build a supportive artistic community that extends beyond the classroom.

The Wilner Magde Centre for the Arts, housed within the historic St. Albans Chapel, features music rooms, art studios, and a student lounge, providing modern spaces for visual, digital, and performing arts.

We host an annual events, including Arts Night, Hidden Gems, concerts, chapel services, and live theatre on campus that showcase and celebrate our students’ creative achievements.

Our comprehensive arts program encompasses visual arts, music (choir and instrumental), drama, and digital media. Our arts curriculum fosters creativity, self-understanding and expression, and a lifelong appreciation for artistic endeavours.
