Student Leadership

Our Approach

Student Leadership

Being a leader is key to what it means to be a Georgian. At RSGC we believe in fostering leadership in our students through an approach that emphasizes shared responsibility and collaboration. Our student leaders are encouraged to identify areas of interest within the school community and create meaningful opportunities for their peers.

Our young Georgians learn what it means to be Georgian from their older fellow schoolmates. Leadership at RSGC is about setting that example, about taking action, about behaviour and attitude; about much more than simply titles.

Junior School Leadership: Opportunities to Lead, Learn, and Contribute

The Junior School has many opportunities for students to step forward, take risks and explore different ways they can be leaders. From being morning greeters, leading an assembly, running an interest based club to designing and planning a whole school event, students work with adults to find their voice, clarify their vision and learn how to work with others. Our goal is for each student to have at least one experience each year where they feel they have stepped forward and contributed to the community.
