In celebration of a half century of Georgian sport, the corridor outside of the gymnasium has been transformed into a Knights’ Athletics memory wall. Photos going back 50 years and as recent as last year cover the entire wall. All of them are in black and white, giving it a retro look.
Coming soon is a special plaque that will commemorate the three pioneers who directly shaped RSGC’s athletics program: Dave “Mix” McMaster, Wayne “Dunk” Dunkley and Mark “Ack” Ackley, who recently retired after 25 years as the College’s Director of Athletics.
The wall was put together over the summer by David Lee, Director of Alumni Development, who will also be retiring this coming summer after 25 years of service to Royal St. George’s College.
Royal St. George's College is an independent school for boys located in The Annex neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school admits boys from Grades 3 through 12. Our mission is to challenge and inspire each of our students to become the best version of himself.
