Relics of the New Ketchum Hall

While the new Ketchum Hall is modern, bright and beautiful, it is also full of historical relics – some more noticeable than others.

On the wooden beam on the ceiling, you will notice famous quoations from the likes of Jack Wright and William Shakespeare. These are faculty favourites as selected by Headmaster Beatty.

The fireplace mantel, otherwise known as the Alumni Mantel, has been engraved with alumni names - all of whom made donations to the Ketchum Hall renovation of $500 or more. The mantel was made with the old Ketchum stage that held many an assembly and a production!

And last but not least, hanging on the north wall is the Coat of Arms donated by the Class of 2016. The Coat of Arms was etched into an old Ketchum Hall dining table that was left exactly as it was – not sanded down, with gum still on the bottom. The old Ketchum tables came from St. Andrews College in 1964, along with Jack Wright!
