RSGC will be following the Government of Canada travel guidelines. These guidelines will evolve as the COVID-19 situation changes and currently include the following:
Avoid all non-essential travel. To limit the spread of COVID-19, the Government of Canada advises that individuals avoid all non-essential travel outside of Canada until further notice. RSGC has halted any work-related travel.
For essential travel, students, parents, families of the student, and staff must respect and follow the Government of Canada quarantine requirements and not enter the school after returning. If students or staff do travel out of Canada, they are required to self-isolate for 14 calendar days when they return. They will also be asked not to come into physical contact with anyone from RSGC during this time.
If family members that live in the same household travel outside of Canada, the family member must take responsibility to follow the quarantine guidelines outside of the home where the student/staff member is residing in order for the student/staff member to continue to attend school/work. Should the family member be following quarantine guidelines in the same house as the RSGC student/staff member, he/she must also observe the same 14-day quarantine and not come to campus.
