Student Life

What do Georgians do for fun?

Leading a balanced, purposeful, and happy life at school is a key part of our Mission Statement at RSGC. We know that boys learn many important life lessons outside the classroom which is why we involve our students in a diverse and extensive programme of extracurricular activities.

The numerous clubs and activities serve as a compliment to the academic programs and provide a chance to pursue many hobbies and interests.

Grade 9 students must participate on a school team or in extra curricular activities every term.  Thursdays are non-sports days and are generally reserved for academic extra help. Some exceptions throughout the year will arise dependent on team and opponent schedules.

As Mr. Chris D'Arcy, member of the Order of the Dragon, says, "Commitment to programmes like these, leads to the kind of character development that is only possible when you stretch yourself physically and socially. If you stay open-minded and take calculated risks through participation and connections, you will enrich your life and the lives of those around you."
