Welcome Back for Another Great Year!

On behalf of ARAMARK, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back the students, faculty and staff of Royal St. George's College and express my excitement for the upcoming school year. The kitchen team here at RSGC are looking forward to serving you all Fresh, Healthy and when possible, Local foods in both our dining hall and retail areas. We will also be providing the option this year for students not on the meal plan to purchase the plan daily in our retail area.

My goal since coming on board last year has been to create menus that are both delicious and nutritionally balanced, as well as meeting the dietary needs of all our students and faculty.
Last year brought some welcome additions and changes to the RSGC food program including a new sandwich bar and expanded salad bar. Thanks to the input from all the students and staff who participated in our spring food survey, we were successfully able to gear our menus to better suit the needs of the students here at the school. Our goal this year is to continue offering the great selection and service you have come to expect from the ARAMARK team. Here is what you can expect in the coming year:

  • A greater emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce.
  • A greater selection of whole grains, whole wheat pasta and rice.
  • A wider variety of low sugar, low salt offerings in our retail area.
  • A complete conversion to biodegradable take out products.
  • A variety of low sodium, lean meats for our sandwich bar.
  • An expanded vegetarian selection for students on the lunch program.
  • A commitment to continue our policy of zero deep fried foods and zero trans fat foods.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the staff and students here at RSGC for being so welcoming and accommodating to Karen, myself, Corey and the entire ARAMARK team over the past year and am very much looking forward to feeding you all over the coming year.
